Returns & Refund Policy

At Built Not Given, we take pride in the quality of the products we supply. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward returns process.

This policy applies to purchases made from Built Not Given, a trading name of JD Mania LTD.

Returns

Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused

  • The item must be in the same condition that you received it

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging

  • Any tags, labels, or protective packaging must still be attached

If the original packaging includes serial numbers or product identification labels, these must remain intact for the return to be accepted.

Before returning any product, please contact us first so we can issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and provide instructions for returning your order.

For your protection, we recommend using a tracked or signed delivery service when returning goods.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

Certain items cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons, including:

  • Products that have been used or worn

  • Items that show signs of damage, misuse, or modification

  • Items returned without original packaging or product identification

If you are unsure whether your item qualifies for return, please contact us before sending it back.

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If the return is approved, we will process your refund to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Refunds will be issued for the value of the returned product, excluding any original shipping charges paid at checkout.

Please allow up to five working days for the funds to appear in your account after the refund has been processed.

If you have not received your refund within seven working days, please contact us and we will investigate the matter.

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items, unless the product is faulty or incorrect.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping may be deducted where applicable.

We strongly recommend using a tracked or signed delivery service to ensure the item arrives safely.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue.

In these situations, we may:

  • Replace the product

  • Repair the product where applicable

  • Offer a full refund

Customers should notify us of any faulty or incorrect item within 48 hours of receiving the order where possible.

Product Warranty

Some products may include a manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship.

Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturing faults and does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Cosmetic damage such as scratches or discolouration

  • Damage caused by misuse, improper storage, or incorrect use

If a product is found to be faulty within the warranty period, we may offer repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the issue.

This warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights under Irish and EU consumer law.
